What to expect as a candidate
Congratulations on being invited to participate in asynchronous screening interview at allUP. This is an important step in the hiring process.
How long does the recording process take?
Creating your allUP profile and completing the asynchronous screening interview is quick and easy. For most candidates, this usually takes 10-20 minutes total.
What do I need to know about recording my asynchronous video interview?
The async video interview is simply a chance for the hiring company to get to know you beyond just your resume. This creates a distinct advantage for candidates that submit both their resume and screening video (it’s extremely rare for someone to move forward to live interviews just submitting their resume).
There are no “right” answers or need to prepare for the screening interview. Across the many thousands of videos on the allUP platform, we’ve found that hiring teams react best when candidates just tell their story like they are talking to a friend.
You are always in control of your interview and can start, stop, retake, or delete your videos any time you want before submitting. Learn more about the recording process in our FAQ.
What happens after after you record your video interview?
Our goal is to be able to inform candidates within two weeks of recording their asynchronous screening interview whether or not they are moving forward to live interviews. While our team works closely with the hiring managers to try and keep things moving, every hiring company and role is different so interview timelines can vary. We will do our best to proactively update you on your application status.
Our team is also available to chat if you have any questions.
